 16-Aug-2020 On this 74th Independence Day, NITIE Inaugurated Swadeshi Mandi in virtual mode. To grace the occasion the event was joined by our Director Prof. Manoj Tiwari, NITIE faculty members, and our Chief Guests from Ministry of Human Resource.  The guests for the inauguration ceremony were: 1. Shri Abhay Jere – Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of HRD, Govt. Of India 2. Madam Apeksha; founder of “Zyka Ka Tadka” [NITIE Alumini] -  Shri Abhay Jere  - He  gave us more deep insishts about Aatmanirbhar Bharat.As proposed by our honourable prime minister,India needs to go vocal for locale.He also emphasized  on developing  more products in India under   Make in India.Also talked about Promotion of R&D activities in India,so that we could become more self reliant economy.Highlighted us with the fact that India was improving and new entrepreneurs are increasing in india year by year.To achieve the $ 5 trillion economies, we all need to work together to achieve it.   🙏We celebrate   74 Independence day! 🙏 On this occasion of Independence I feel proud to be a part of Mandi.and take this opportunity to thank NITIE-Mumbai for such a great initiative. We this Independence day go vocal for local.We promoted our Swadeshi items,found in different parts of our country. We by this initiative  got to know so much about different  areas of India and its potential to become Atmanirbhar. Like all my batch mates I with my team member   Ujjawal   participated in “Swadeshi Mandi” in poster making competition. Like many of you, it was also my first experience in poster making. So our team  had to go in a very organized manner to meet these challenges. Various steps in the process of poster making were: 🇮🇳First step was to discuss about what shall be our product.For this we listed the various things that were famous in our regions and then we decided to go for  the best and unique of them all. 🇮🇳Second step was to decide the name of our product,

    The first day of our virtual classroom .All tensed 😰and extremely excited 😀 to have the first interaction with our business communication proffesor. Talking abut first day experiences always refreshes so many memories of that day.First's are always the special one's😀 The class was a regular one at 9 am morning🌞.A man wearing a nehru cap with all the vibes of authenticity  and positive  attitude switched on his video. He had a great voice and charm that attracted all of ours attention with just his few words of greetings. This  manw our own Mr T.Prasad sir,he was going to take our Business communication class.  Then  sir played the pink Floyd song, and told us how much  the old conventional ways of teaching in a  business school needs to be reformed. One more thing that had  catched my  attention was the poster behind him,it was of a man wearing a similar cap like him.Soon the curiosity was over 😃 Sir introduced us to  Mandi sir,that poster was the logo 1/12 Mandi
